Xavier's First Birthday Party

 Sorry it has taken me so long to do another blog post and share Xavier's big day, with moving house, easter and the lack of wifi at our new house it has made making my usual blog posts alot harder. So finally i'm in wifi range and ready to share photos of Xavier's first birthday party! Xavier's favorite tv show is 'in the night garden' and his favourite character is 'Iggle Piggle', in case you haven't seen this show before google, in the night garden. Iggle Piggle is blue, red and white and has a very special blanket much like Xavier's very special 'Rabbey'. So coming up with a theme for Xavier's party was quite easy, blowing up all the balloons and hanging them from our roof however was not! I made Xavier's cake myself and I even made the marshmallow fondant myself (also crediting one of my friends Adriana for helping me with putting the fondant on the cake and for letting me use her cake decorating materials). It was such a great day for Xavier and we are very lucky to have amazing friends and family to help share and spoil our little cherub, as fun as the whole thing was i'm definitely glad I only have to do it a couple of times a year! Alot of stress, hard work, hunting and most of all love went into Xavier's party and i'm so glad it paid off in the end, and yes i'm definitely going to continue to make big deals of our childrens birthdays with big themed partys, they're only kids for such a short amount of time. Newborn Photos

Looking through all of Xavier's newborn photo's last night that were taken by 'memories by sarah'. Xavier was only 2 weeks old and still very tiny! Although from memory trying to get these photo's weren't as easy as you think, he woke a few times and took awhile to settle, we tried making him milk drunk and rocking him. Thankfully Sarah is great with babies and children so Sarah got Xavier to sleep and moved/positioned him each time, having no nappy photos is also a risk as he did decide to go to the toilet while we were taking photos also, luckily just number one and only the once. I love looking back on these photo's as they're so special to us and they are only this little for such a short amount of time. Sarah also took my pregnancy photos too. Next time I will show you more newborn photos of Xavier that my friend Bob Wickham took for us, Bob also took pregnancy shots of me too so I will do a blog post of all my pregnancy photo's if you guys would like to see them. I recommend to every new parent or even every child you have to have newborn photo's done professionally as they're such a beautiful keepsake.

12 Months Of Xavier

 Yep, I'm a week early on this blog post but I couldn't wait to share all my favourite photos of Xavier's first year and I also have a very busy week next week as we are moving into our new house, Xavier's first birthday and also Xavier's first easter! So a little update since the last update I did on Xavier was at 11 months old. Well Xavier as most of you know is starting to walk, he has become very vocal and the amount of words and sounds he can do now is far more than I had imagined,very fun! He now weighs over 10kg, can blow kisses, clap hands and make a what I call Indian boy noise using his hands to his mouth, ADORABLE! He puts puzzles together and climbs stairs in 0.5 seconds. It has been such a fantastic year for us with Xavier in our lives, he makes everyday brighter and full of laughter (most of the time anyways). We can't imagine our lives without our little ray of sunshine and can't wait to share more memories and fun times with him. Thankyou all for sharing my first year of being a mother with me and for giving me your attention enough to read all my blog posts. Can't wait to share every beautiful moment of our lives with you all and share more and more good news.
