Xavier is now 11 months old, suddenly it dawned on me that I had done absolutely no organising of his 1st Birthday party. I had in my mindset to be far more organised than I really am, so i've started to purchase balloons,streamers etc and finally have a venue area to have his party at. I wanted his birthday invitations to be a little different to others and a little more personalised, so we decided to have a little fun and do a 'cake smash' photo shoot with Xavier and use them as his party invites. So basically with a 'cake smash' you bake a cake, sit your baby down and let them go wild, thankfully Xavier was a great model for me (like always) and sat down and enjoyed putting as much chocolate cake in his mouth as possible.
